Urgent action plans for public examination passed by Royal Decree 2/2004 and incorporated within the system of east Almeria

The coastal areas of east Almeria suffer water shortages during summer periods and current water sources do not guarantee supplies in the future. This problem is further aggravated by the massification of crop plantations in the irrigable area of Cuevas de Almanzora.

The solution proposed by Euroestudios consists of the construction of a pipeline from the Carboneras desalination plant running parallel to the coast and connecting up to the distribution networks for those areas with greater demand.
