R&D project to prepare a heat release measurement system for tunnel fires

The R&D department at Euroestudios have established an innovative system to measure the heat release rate of tunnel fires in real time, which is simple to install in tunnels already in operation.

The development of this system has also provided a callibrated and confirmed CFD model for application in the dimensioning of tunnel ventilation systems.
