Research and development of an improved temperature regulation system for underfloor heating

The purpose of this project is to create and develop a regulating system for underfloor heating, capable of reducing the effect caused by thermal inertia typical in these types of heating, with ensuing energy and cost savings. The necessary sensors, equipment or devices shall subsequently be employed to establish the variables required for the development of a calculation algorithm in order to obtain successive temperature forecasts, and regulate the system with sufficient precision to ensure correct operation.

Project approved by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade.

Start-up year: 2007.
