VULCAN Project: Vulnerability of road infrastructure to natural disasters

The programme aims to evaluate the degree by which a specific environment may negatively influence the working life of an infrastructure. The project includes the creation of a computer analysis system, the planning and management of road information and the possibility of creating vulnerability profiles to natural hazards. 

Project approved by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade.

Start-up year: 2007.
