Research and development project for advanced construction systems to adapt buildings to earthquake legislation without interruption
The object of the project is to define building processes and develop new structural solutions to allow the use of a building while undergoing reinforcement work.
Research is being conducted into the use of advanced structural reinforcement techniques that would be installed without interfering with the normal use of installations of the reinforced buildings. This may imply an extension of installations on some occasion, while on others this will require new architectural features that will give a new appearance to the anti-earthquake reinforced structure.
Start-up year: 2008.
