Extension of terminal and apron area at the Asturias Airport
The work on the terminal building increased the surface area of the terminal from 4,400 m2 to 8,700 m2. These works were completed by the extension of the apron and a new electrical plant. The aircraft parking apron was extended a further 15 metres throughout its entire length by a rigid pavement to obtain a total width of 105 metres.
