Ten of the major Spanish civil engineering consultancy companies, including Euroestudios, founded last 20^th February FIDEX, Excellence Engineering Forum. The need for its foundation underlies the common concern of the founding members for the situation of engineering sector in general and civil engineering in particular. Thus, the association tries to join efforts in the search of excellence and quality in the development of professional engineering services.

The association, opened to the incorporation of other similar companies, has been promoted by Eptisa, Euroconsult, Euroestudios, Getinsa, Inocsa, Entecsa - Inarsa, Inypsa, Paymacotas, Prointec and Typsa. The mentioned enterprises share the same vision on the absolute need to seek excellence in professional services such as planning, study of alternatives, project, design, site management and infrastructures maintenance.   

FIDEX seeks to promote that professional engineering services are controlled by multidisciplinary, solvent and experienced teams, with ambition of the highest quality and spirit of public service, have the technical aptitude to guarantee an optimal result in the investment process, being properly remunerated for it.

Among FIDEX's specific aims are included quality engineering works, innovative techniques and management models, promote social responsibility and sustainability of infrastructures, report the public opinion of technical developments in the sector and help public sector to improve the quality and efficiency in infrastructures.

Concerning to international markets, FIDEX aspires to be a meeting point and discussion between similar engineering enterprises as well as a promoter of Spanish engineering internationalization, contributing to spread the 'Spain' brand. In addition, this forum will make a joint action with other entities to achieve equal terms with engineering multinational corporations.
