4th Central American Congress on Road Funding

 

The National Highway Council of Costa Rica (CONAVI) is organizing the 4th Central American Congress on Roads Funds "Roads for Integration and Development" with the collaboration of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) and the Central American Road Fund Committee (COCAVIAL).

This IV Congress aims to reiterate the undertakings made in previous events and promote the exchange of successful experiences of road projects carried out in Central America. The programme covers subjects such as Road Safety, Environment, Project Management, Quality Control, Road Funding, Central American Integration, among others.

Fernando Clares, head of the International Infrastructure Department at Euroestudios, will give a conference titled "Road plans. Diagnosis and development of the road system".

4th International Symposium and Exhibition on Cleaner Production

The Panama Industrialists Association and the National Environment Agency have organized the 4th International Symposium and Exhibition on Cleaner Production with the aim of increasing competitive production while giving consideration to environmental problems and the introduction of new environmental legislation.

The Symposium includes a series of conferences and an exhibition area and shall receive companies and organizations from Panama, Spain, Mexico, Colombia and the United States, among others, who will cover subjects related to environmental law and practical cases.

Jorge Fernández Ontivero, Head of the Water Quality Department at Euroestudios, participated in the series of conferences with a report on water treatment in small urban areas.

5th World Water Forum

 

From 16 to 22 March 2009, Istanbul hosted the 5th World Water Forum, an event held every three years under the auspices of the World Water Council (WWC) and the most important international forum on water resources.

The 2009 forum included a poster display contest within the official programme. Euroestudios were one of the competition winners, with a poster bearing IMPROVING OUR SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE which outlined company activities related to water engineering and the environment.
